Call to protect British-era buildings

As the district administration, along with Madurai corporation, is gearing up for the hosting of 'Maamadurai Potruvom', a three- day celebration, the villagers of Keelakuyilkudi has urged the district administration to preserve buildings constructed by the British during the 1920s, which stand testimony to the little-known historical village.
